About Me

JEREMY SCHNEIDER is a NYC-based Director of Photography and Director who has been capturing images on film, video, and digital media for over 25 years.

Upon graduating from UW-Madison’s renowned film program, he began shooting and editing local news on the mean streets of Milwaukee, WI. Although that experience provided an unparalleled real-world education in mastering the art of efficient storytelling, Jeremy wanted the opportunity to be a part of the film industry, so he headed to Orlando, FL to pursue his passions. Almost 10 years spent at Adrenaline Film Productions in Orlando, FL honed his skills as a technician, artist, and storyteller using the tools of light and glass.

In 2005, he decided to go freelance and relocate to NYC, where he quickly became one of the go-to DP’s in the world of unscripted television. In addition to his camera and lighting abilities, Jeremy is also known to have a keen ear for story, the ability to problem solve on set, and a knack for leading strong camera and audio teams to success on a daily basis.

Although he is based in New York City, he has created and captured memorable images in 40 countries and on all seven continents, using just about every format available, from Go-Pros to 35mm film and every camera in between. His diverse credit list includes commercials, sports, documentaries, music videos, short films, as well as high-profile network and cable hits like Survivor, Project Runway, Dual Survival, and Comic Book Men. He’s also the Owner and CEO of an independent video production company, Sun Dog Pictures, LLC.
